Dr. Heeru Purswani completed his B.D.S. from the renowned Bharti Vidyapeeth’s Dental College and Hospital, Pune under the Pune University, and then went on to get the 1st Rank in the Maharashtra State Entrance Exam, and the fifth rank in the All India Entrance Examination for admission to dental post graduate courses in India.
Dr. Purswani completed his Masters in Orthodontics (M.D.S) from the prestigious Nair Hospital Dental College Mumbai, in 2004 and has been in private practice since then.
He has an extensive experience in the field of orthodontics, and he practices exclusive Orthodontics at his clinic in Santacruz west, Mumbai. He is also a Consultant Orthodontist to several leading dental practices in Mumbai.
Dr. Purswani believes in continually updating his knowledge to keep up with the newest techniques that are available, while at the same time he also recognizes the utility of treatment methods that are time tested and have shown to repeatedly produce good results.
He tries to understand the need of the patient and focuses his treatments towards achieving the same. In spite of treating a vast number of patients, Dr. Purswani maintains a personal rapport with each patient. He goes to lengths to explain the needs and manner of the treatment in a simple, non-technical manner for the best understanding of the patient.
Dr. Purswani is well versed with the modern appliances available today to Orthodontics such as the self ligating systems, use of invisible braces and using mini-implants to maximise the benefit to the patient. He also has an interest in the dental management of sleep breathing disorders.
Dr. Purswani has also taken the INVISALIGN certification to deliver newer methods of treatment to his patients, which involves Orthodontic treatment done without braces, using INVISALIGN which is one of the most reputed aligner companies worldwide, to deliver predictable, quality treatment outcomes.
Apart from this Dr. Purswani also has other interests such as reading, swimming and he plays table tennis and football.
